Huawei has kept the details on the Huawei P30 Pro a closely guarded secret, with just a little of the flagship set to be revealed to the public in China on 12 October.

Huawei has confirmed that the flagship will feature the flagship 10nm Kirin 980 processor, which has been used on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, offering even faster speeds than its predecessor, as well as the latest internals for artificial intelligence (AI) processing and AI technologies.

Huawei P30 specs
Huawei has unveiled the specs for the Huawei P30 Pro ahead of the launch, and they appear to match closely to that of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
The Huawei P30 will feature a 6.7-inch 2560 x 1440 curved OLED display with a 397ppi pixel density. Huawei is keen to point out that it’s an OLED display, and says this panel will offer increased brightness for good viewing during the day, as well as rich blacks and contrast for ideal viewing.
On the back of the phone, there’s a triple camera setup, just like the Huawei P20 Pro, and a dual-camera setup on the front, with the fingerprint sensor on the back.
Huawei has confirmed the phone will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but a lot of the specs have not been confirmed for the European version, with details of the RAM and storage amount looking likely to be restricted to the Chinese market, as Huawei has offered Huawei Mate 20 Pro deals and deals so far.
Huawei P30 Pro Specs
Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu has also confirmed that the Huawei P30 Pro will feature an 8GB RAM and 512GB storage version, which would give it the biggest RAM and storage figures of any flagship smartphone released this year.
Inside the Huawei P30 is a Kirin 970 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In the camera department the Huawei P30 has a dual camera setup with a 40MP sensor alongside a 20MP lens and an f/1.6 aperture.
The Huawei P30 Pro meanwhile, is a little more ambitious. The P30 Pro has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 2240 x 1080.
The device also offers a notch at the top of the display, and a 3D structured light sensor for improved portrait images.
Huawei will also be announcing a P30 series of phones, but so far all details on these have been shrouded in secrecy.
The details on the Huawei p30 have also been confirmed to the public in China, but there’s little else that has been revealed so far.

Fresh information has emerged that suggests the P30 Pro will have three cameras on the rear, making it the most affordable phone in the world to feature three cameras.
AnTuTu CEO Thorsten Lau shared the listings of six new Huawei phones on his Twitter handle, mentioning the all-new P30 Pro, P30, P30 Lite, and P30 Pro Lite.
Notably, the P30 Pro Plus variant is already listed on AnTuTu’s website with the model number AINL model number.
We already know that the P30 Pro was spotted on a benchmarking website with the model number AUBG/PRL based on reports from WinFuture and FCC.
The triple-camera setup of the P30 Pro is identical to that of the Mate 20 Pro featuring a 40-megapixel sensor, a 20-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor.
The renders of the phone suggested an in-display fingerprint scanner, but the AnTuTu listing shows a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is possible that the fingerprint scanner might be present on the P30 Pro and the P30 Lite only.

As it seems, 2018 would be the year for flagships from top-notch Chinese brands.
