How To Win An Escape Room Game Every Single Time

Escape rooms are adventure encounters that have enthralled adrenaline junkies all over the world. These games test your mental abilities and encourage you to decode and decipher the perplexing puzzles.

While many people believe in enjoying every minute of this heart-pounding session, others prefer to put their best foot forward.

If you are one of those people who wants to be ready to face these perplexing challenges, you have come to the right place!

The escape game chicago, where I went with my troop gave me ample experience to keep in mind while preparing for the next game.

In this article, I will share the secrets of defeating the constantly ticking clock for a successful escape.

Team-up With Your Best Mates

Pick your best buddies and make a strong team. It is not everyone’s cup of tea to fathom the victory. It is critical to have a team that can decipher various puzzles, whether they are technological clues or arithmetic riddles.

As a result, having a diverse group of people who are knowledgeable about a variety of topics would be advantageous.

Prepare Ahead of Time

There’s something that’s more important than your in-game planning, that is being in the current frame of mind before you set foot into a game. Pre-game planning can have two dimensions, one for the online style of gameplay and the other for the Physical experiences.

When it comes to an online escape room game, such as the one that I have referenced, it is still a live-game experience, and being prepared for it allows you to have the composure you need to put all your attention on the game. Here’s a checklist that I run through before my online experiences:

  1. Internet Connectivity and Backup
  2. Computer Tech
    1. Mouse / Keyboard test
    2. Webcam test
    3. Sound and Mic test
  3. Room ambience check (quiet and cool is best)
  4. Mobile phones and other distractions are silenced.

Running this check allows me to get the most out of every game that I play and also ensures that I don’t cause any inconvenience to other players.

Similarly, for a physical escape room, such as this one that I found while looking for things to do in Warwick, I ran through this checklist:

  1. Do they have a Washroom
  2. Is there a convenient parking (if not how far is the next available parking space)
  3. Are there F&B joints near them where we can hang-out post game.
  4. Have I properly hydrated and also hit the loo (to avoid embarrassing emergencies)
  5. Am I or my teammates wearing appropriate clothing and footwear etc

This allows me to prepare for a warrior mindset where I am ready to take on any challenge that comes my way before entering the game.

Be interactive and attentive

Communication is essential on the path to success. It is critical to share your ideologies and be on the same page with others in an escape room game. This will enable the participants to solve the perplexing riddles strewn around the room.

Being interactive and attentive throughout the game will assist participants in staying up to date and searching for relevant clues in order to win the game!

Keep An Eye On Time

Time is an important factor here. It amplifies the adrenaline rush making the game more immersive.

Try not to spend more time working on a single puzzle. If you can’t figure out a riddle, look around for other mysteries and clues. Return when you’re feeling more confident. This will assist you in eliminating all unnecessary time waste and decoding the puzzles on time.

Have Fun

Lastly, enjoy the experience and have fun with your clan. This is a critical component of success. After all, escape rooms are a form of entertainment.

It’s supposed to be enjoyable. If you’re running out of time, don’t storm out in rage. It’s just a game, so laugh it off.

These games are to give you a mind-boggling experience that will teleport you to another dimension.
